ABOUT ME
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” – Lao Tzu
I am currently a UF international student from Vietnam majoring in Finance.
Since secondary school, I have had a passion for numbers and how they're operating the world; like Pythagoras said: "Number is the within of all things." Achieving the award in the Excellent Student Contest in Physics in 2015 provided me the confidence to apply for one of the top high schools in Vietnam, VNU-HCM High school for the Gifted.
I enjoyed experiencing part-time jobs or internships in the business area to determine what career best fits me. After being an internship trainee at Indovina Bank Ltd., I broadened my knowledge about financial analysis thanks to the support of the company's officers. And then, I came up with my final decision to work in the finance area.
In addition to working experiences, I believe volunteer opportunities also shaped who I am today. I respect and appreciate the diversity of cultures from all around the world. That's why I was co-founder of the German Club in high school and Vice President of the Valencia Intercultural Student Association. These experiences make me more confident in claiming that open-mindedness is a key element to success in my future career.
